Global Personal Competency Program

Overview

The Global Personal Competency Program (GPC) is designed exclusively for Vietnamese students who wish to study in a UK degree program. The objectives of the program are to equip students with 10 comprehensive skill sets that extend beyond English language proficiency to help students excel in their major programs and thrive in a globalized world by fostering a holistic growth approach that includes essential skills.

·    Understanding the main ideas of complex texts on concrete or abstract topics

·    Presentation of an issue speculating about consequences, and weighing advantages and disadvantages of different approaches.

High school graduates who wish to apply to Greenwich Vietnam need to achieve one of the qualifications listed below.

1. High School Transcript Results: 

  • A minimum GPA of 7.0/10 for Grade 12, 1st Semester of Grade 12 or Grade 11; 

2. High School Graduation Exam Results

  • Total score of 3 subjects in Groups A, B, C, D, H, and V (including subgroups in compliance with the MOET regulations, no subject score is multiplied).
  • The matriculation scores will be announced on the official website of Greenwich Vietnam after the exam results are available.

3. Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University’s Highschool Student Assessment (HSA) Results

  • The matriculation scores will be announced on the official website of Greenwich Vietnam after the exam results are available.

4. International Qualifications:

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

  • Cambridge Advanced Level Certificate (A level)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Certificate
  • High school diploma with a SAT 1 score still valid, from 800 points and above
  • High school diploma in other countries.

Applicants with qualifications awarded by foreign educational institutions must obtain the recognition certification from the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

Applicants who apply for Computing and Artificial Intelligence are required to have a minimum score of 7.0/10 for one of three subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. 

Special cases will undergo individual assessment through interviews conducted by the Admissions Council. Priority will be given to applicants who submit their admission applications early.
